NEW HAVEN POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING SUSPECT WANTED FOR EMBEZZLING $237K

(12/16/2008) NEW HAVEN- New Haven Police seek the public’s assistance in locating the whereabouts of 49-year-old Philip Friend of 222 Peaceable St Ridgefield, CT. Friend is wanted for Larceny 1st and 33 counts of Forgery 3rd for embezzling over $237,000.00 from Standard Beef in New Haven, CT. Friend was employed by Standard Beef as a consultant for a period of about six months. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 lbs, has brown eyes and brown hair. Friend was last seen driving a red 2004 Chevy Avalanche pickup truck bearing CT Registration 419-UPH. He also has access to a grey ’07 BMW 525xi with 4 doors bearing CT. Registration 968-UPS and a blue Volkswagen Eos convertible bearing CT Registration 613-XND. Anyone with information is asked to contact New Haven Police.
